We would also like to invite you to come and visit us any other Wednesday, to see what we are doing at the “drop in”, in the Archives Building or the Museum.
- Any person will become a member upon the payment of annual dues.
- Good standing. Members are in good standing when they pay annual dues and attend a minimum of two (2) meetings per year.
Members may become a textile studio volunteer. Training and supervision will be provided by Museum Staff. Volunteer duties include demonstrating weaving and spinning and related fibre arts, providing hospitality and history as well as handling artifacts from the “Honey Hooser Collection”. PAWS volunteer members are invited to work on the looms in the Textile studio at the museum. The looms can be threaded for blankets, tea towels, runners and other useful textiles. More experienced members can help you with any questions you may have. Many of our members have increased their weaving confidence in the studio.
